Celebrate humble Shysters – for ShyTalk Radio has risen from the ashes of history and returned. No reboot, no rebrand, just the same team producing the same tasty cuts of dark, surreal comedy punctuated with prime morsels of independent music.
Many said it could never be achieved, but thanks to a combination of tenacious lawyers, competent accountancy, extensive hypnotherapy, rehab, an excellent catering team and at least one instance of bribery, the ShySquad is back together.

Often cited as the impetus for bringing our troubled trio back to the recording studio and providing a unique insight into the murky in-between years, use the player above to hear the first publicly available airing of the Richard Candy interview and discover some of the transgressions that needed surmounting.

Modern technology enabled our tricksy threesome to overcome antipathy and re-engage in the creative process. Personal and professional rifts were slowly desensitised, bringing them closer together (often one county at a time), until eventually they were all in the same room without a single punch or drink being thrown. Praise be!

There is one question on everyone’s lips though – and for once it’s not the Hereford incident – rather, people are asking ‘Is that the unmistakable maimed-hand ham-sound of Dogger we can hear?’ Truthfully, no-one knows. We say make up your own mind by exposing yourself to the first ShyTalk album in nearly three decades.
‘ShyTalk Radio – Episode 1’ – lands early 2026. We’ll keep you informed…
