  • Click Bait

The Daily Mail have been doing it for years so we thought, why not?

Using a subtle blend of ethical hacking, social engineering and Lightning socket brute-forcing we were able to remotely access Noz’s phone and see the WhatsApp conversations he’s been having with the other ShyTalk members.

Most of it is far too shocking and controversial to publish. We did however find this little snippet. A valuable insight into their working process…

A WhatsApp chat between Noz and Stu.

  • ShyTalk FC

A promo pic for ShyTalk FC’s upcoming championship match against bitter rivals, Cemaes Bay Control Rods.

Consisting of original ShyTalk members (Jim, Noz & Stu) together with a select few friends and family members, ShyTalk FC exploded onto the scene in 2025. They rocketed to the top of the league after only one season with two members, Jim & Noz, even receiving special awards for ‘best at kicking’.

They’ll be defending their currently held title as champions in the Gagge & Ball Inter-County Grassroots Cup later this year.

    We wish them luck…

  • Competitive Butchery

One of the few things that wasn’t either destroyed or confiscated in the infamous police raid and subsequent fire at ShyTalk’s headquarters on the oil rig was Stu’s old notebook for show ideas. We were fortunate enough to have this sent to us recently by an anonymous donor.

Most of it is totally incomprehensible, just random letters, scribbles and lines. Presumably, this was some kind of code Stu invented to try and stop people from stealing his ideas (something he was unhealthily obsessed with in ShyTalk’s later years).

Here’s one page we found that actually made some kind of sense. It’s a shame that, as far as we know, ‘Competitive Butchery’ never actually made it as a sketch…

Early notes on ideas for episode 17, featuring 'Competitive Butchery' as a suggested sketch title.

  • Rare Sega GameGear Find

We’ve known about the ZX Spectrum version of ShyTalk’s notorious video game, ‘Jockey Wilson’s Tiananmen Square Challenge’ for some time now but never thought we’d ever get to see this.

We managed to pick up on eBay the near-mythical Sega GameGear version of the game, in mint condition (sadly no box) and working perfectly.

According to the legend, only two copies were ever made of this game before executives at Sega put a stop to further production for reasons of taste, decency and the company’s reputation.

    And now it’s ours!

Right, excuse us while we get back to playing this fabulous piece of video game history. Those tanks aren’t going to stop themselves, you know!

  • ShyTalk’s Musical Favourites

We asked our favourite trio of emotionally stunted men (Jim, Noz & Stu) to compile a Spotify playlist of some of their favourite and most influential songs.

Stu flatly refused, stating, “I’m medically unable to recall any music I’ve ever heard due to my theatrical tinnitus. Anyway, I’m the creative genius here, not the fucking DJ”.

Thankfully, Jim and Noz were happy to oblige. We suspect it’s because it gives them the rare opportunity to force their questionable taste in music onto others.

And here’s the result: a genre-spanning mess of silliness, sonic extremes and room-clearers for your listening displeasure.

  • The Return of the Blue Pedro Club?

Spotted on a local Morrison’s community notice board.

We know the original ShyTalk members are speaking to each other again (albeit mostly due to contractual obligations), but could this be a sign they’re also resurrecting the now infamous Blue Pedro Club?

Or is this perhaps the work of an eager fan, longing for its return? Who knows? Guess we’ll just have to go to the next meating to find out.

  • Banksy’s Identity Finally Revealed…

Turns out Banksy is not the bloke from Massive Attack, Neil Buchanan, or an art collective after all. In a shocking report, Reuters reveal this week that Banksy has actually been an 11 year old child all along.

  • New (Old) Episode Discovered!

We’ve just been sent a very rare recording of one of the European broadcasts, ‘Neuk mijn neus, tapel teef’.

Originally broadcast live in Amsterdam in February 1999, it features such classics as ‘Papicide is never Funny‘ and ‘Slippery Pete: Logging Country‘.

  • ShyTalk Official Reunion Confirmed!

It’s official! After years of speculation, the original ShyTalk crew have reunited and are about to release their first new show in over 20 years!

    Check out the exclusive interview.

We’ve been approached by the original members (and their legal team) and strong-armed into being official resellers for their new episodes and merchandise. To quote Stu, “Look, we’ve no idea how the internet works. You do it.”

  • The Failed ShyTalk Computer Game

    ZX Spectrum Loading Screen

The loading screen from the now infamous ShyTalk Radio computer game, ‘Jockey Wilson’s Tiananmen Square Challenge’, released for the Sinclair ZX Spectrum in 1999. The idea apparently came to Stu during an LSD-fuelled weekend spent on Jeff Minter’s farm, although Minter has always refused to comment on whether he himself had any influence in the making of the game.

Poor sales and even worse reviews (with an average rating of around 15% in games magazines) combined with being released on a platform which was 10 years out of date meant that the game was quickly demoted to the bargain bin. Most retailers simply refused to stock it and only around 1,000 copies were actually made.

It was widely considered to be completely unplayable, in terrible taste, and one of the worst ever releases on the ZX Spectrum.

There has also been a rumour circulating since the early 2000s of a bootleg Sega Game Gear version of the game. We’ve seen no evidence of this, however.

    Reviews:

“Utterly unwholesome and a complete cash grab. Designed by imbeciles and coded by chimpanzees.”

Julian ‘Jaz’ Rignall, Computer & Video Games Magazine, 1999

“It gave me a headache and made me see colours all wrong for an hour after playing.”

    Violet Berlin, Gamespot, 1999

“You’ll be hearing from my solicitor.”

  • Wheel of Fortune

The time when ShyTalk Radio appeared as an answer in an early 2000s episode of Wheel of Fortune. According to our source, this was at the point in the show where a contestant was just about to incorrectly guess, ‘Shy Wank Patio’.

  • ShyTalk in the Press

Renowned journalist, Jeremy Tinkerton, reminisces about his time spent with ShyTalk during their European tour in his article for London Review of Books, 2021.

  • ShyTalk in the Wild!

Spotted in Clintons, Norwich, November 2024. Submitted by an anonymous fan. It’s unclear whether this is the work of fans or whether one (or more) of the original ShyTalk Radio members are responsible. There are rumours of them working together again, but this photo has been the closest anyone has come to providing any possible evidence of this.
